IT Scrum Master: Salesforce

About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join a dynamic team supporting a major federal agency initiative. This role offers the unique opportunity to serve as a Key Personnel member on a large-scale Time & Materials contract running through August 2030, with conversion to permanent employment after a 6-month contract period.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as dedicated Scrum Master for cross-functional development teams
• Manage JIRA reporting, tracking, and sprint metrics
• Lead story refinement sessions and backlog grooming
• Prepare and deliver monthly project reports to stakeholders
• Provide support to Project Manager and Business Analyst functions
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos)
• May serve as Deputy PM when needed
• Remove impediments and foster team collaboration
• Coach teams on Agile best practices and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification strongly preferred
• Expert-level proficiency with JIRA and Confluence
• Experience supporting federal government contracts (highly preferred)
• Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work on-site in Martinsburg, WV up to 5 days per week
• Must be eligible for Public Trust clearance
• Commitment to 6-month contract-to-hire arrangement

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce projects/teams
• Prior federal agency experience
• Advanced Agile certifications (A-CSM, PSM II, SAFe, etc.)
